Vicky Hansen's Mugs

I am lucky enough to own 2 of Vicky's mug and she lent me one to photograph for this blog.

This mug is the smallest mug. It has kind of an hour glass shape and has a very comfortable handle. I like the negative shape the handle makes.

This mug has 2 distinct hues. The wider bottom keeps the drink warmer and has a fun undulation as well. The handle is sturdy an again has an interesting negative space. The shape reminds me of a pitcher.

This is one her latest mugs that she lent me to photograph for the blog. Again the handle leads to an interesting negative space, it attaches further down from the rim. Leaves room for fingers. This mug has an interesting glazing with a variety of colors and mixing.

Vicky has wonderful skill and artistry. She is so knowledgeable and willing to share. She plans for visiting artists and is so welcoming. She supports students creativity. I respect her so much. I usually have a question for her when I see her. One day I asked if was OK if I asked her a question and she said "Well have you used your question quota?"
